Cuarteto Veda Bartringer offers a vibrant blend of contemporary jazz and cinematic soundscapes. Led by the guitarist and composer Veda Bartringer, along with Laurent Peckels on bass, Julien Cuvelier on saxophone, and Maxime Magotteaux on drums, the quartet creates a powerful and dynamic sound driven by interaction, rhythm, and improvisation. Their music effortlessly moves from intimate and lyrical passages to expansive and high-energy moments, with each musician contributing a distinct voice to the collective. With the new album Rise and Shine, Veda Bartringer unveils a bold new chapter in her artistic journey, one that combines the expressive freedom of jazz, the richness of classical music, and the cinematic power of storytelling. Inspired by the work of artists such as Snarky Puppy and Petros Klampanis, Rise and Shine features original compositions that blend jazz with a strong emphasis on storytelling at the heart of their artistic vision.
