Part of the festival Volumens 2026

modul is a Valencia-based media art platform founded in 2024 to foster a community around multimedia experimentation, DIY culture, and the intersection of science, technology, and society. Its main initiative is SYNC, a monthly electronic improvisation session where six sound and video artists—chosen via an open call that ensures gender equality and rotation—collaborate in 15-minute bursts, creating unpredictable real-time AV performances in an intimate setting.

The platform also hosts talks like Crear y Comulgar, which explores techno-social trends and community building, featuring guest artists Javier Melgar (electronic musician and developer), Magda Arques (visual artist and creative coder), and Sergi Palau (visual artist and curator of the Volumens festival). Through these events, workshops, and local collaborations, modul aims to boost the Valencian Community’s digital art scene and promote free knowledge exchange.
