Forma Antiqva. De sópitu

Sun, 20 Dec – 18:30 20.12. - 18:30

CaixaForum València - Àgora, Valencia

Forma Antiqva is a musical project led by the Zapico brothers that has been revolutionizing ancient music for over two decades with freshness and creativity. Their commitment to the recovery of musical heritage has led them to rescue forgotten scores and discover the connection between folk music and Baroque music. Their De sópitu is a sonic journey that unites tradition and modernity: popular melodies from the northern peninsula dialogue with the most refined Baroque, performed by seven musicians who blend historical instruments, lively rhythms, and contagious energy. A concert that surprises "out of the blue," with boldness and the unmistakable signature of Forma Antiqva: audacious, vibrant, and absolutely unique.
