Sentuhlà

Sat, 17 Oct – 21:00 17.10. - 21:00

CaixaForum València - Àgora, Valencia

Part of the festival Volumens 2026

Sentuhlà is one of the many musical aliases of José Guerrero, a long-time member of Valencia’s rich underground scene. In this new solo venture, he explores the vast possibilities of mechanical repetition, machine-like funk with gritty rhythms, and synth-driven boogie, sculpting a syncopated sound that is both modern and primal. With a wide sonic range and depth of detail, Sentuhlà is dance music through downtempo, with African rhythms playing with no wave, achieving the difficult feat of sounding carefree yet fiery and meticulous.

Closed-door nightclub music that will appeal to fans of the new directions in dance music that propelled Cabaret Voltaire, impLOG, and Cotonou’s Orchestre Poly-Rythmo into the basements of the 21st century.
