LA FRONTERA is a Spanish rock group that was formed in 1984 in Madrid, as a result of the meeting between Javier Andreu and Toni Marmota at the Faculty of Information Sciences. Their sound combines rock, country, and lyrics that explore themes such as the border between good and evil, love and death, law and the outlaw. They have been a reference for Spanish rock for more than forty years, with hardly any radio support, but maintaining a base of loyal fans — the fronterizos — who have accompanied them on their tours year after year.
